Elizabeth Taylor’s Personal Items Go Up For Auction
A collection of Elizabeth Taylor’s personal items, including her cocktail dresses, jewelry and film costumes, are set to be auctioned off by our friend Darren Julien Auctions in Beverly Hills.
The collection has been given to him by an unidentified former employee of Liz’s, and the top item is an 18 karat gold, multi-gem earring and necklace set that is expected to fetch between $10,000-$15,000.
Also for sale, Taylor’s falcon headdress she wore in the 1963 film Cleopatra, which is expected to go for around $2,000-$3,000. More of Taylor’s belongings including a spaghetti-strap gown and bolero jacket she wore to husband Richard Burton’s 50th birthday party in 1975, are also up for auction.
