Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen may have rocketed to fame with her catchy hit “Call Me Maybe,” but she’ll forever go down in baseball history for throwing one of the worst ceremonial first pitches ever.

Jepsen was the special guest for the Tampa Bay Rays game on Sunday, and tossed out the “pitch” that barely made it past the pitcher’s mound.

After her pitching fail went viral online, the singer tweeted out “So apparently I made ESPN with my fail of a pitch. Lol- Daddy must be so proud.”

The commentators applaud her for giving it a “great effort…” and note that, though her pitch was bad – real bad, it wasn’t as bad radio personality Ba Ba Booey’s in 2008.

At least she was a good sport about the whole thing and laughed it all off. Now watch the pitch below!

Is her first pitch the worst in history? Watch this compilation of some of the worst ceremonial pitches ever and see how hers compares!
