Just fresh off their third win on Monday night’s episode of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, Arleen Scavone founder of Sweet Arleen’s cupcakes in Westlake Village stopped by the K-EARTH 101 Morning Show to talk about her three-peat win!

Sweet Arleen’s sealed another win by creating themed cupcakes that could be served at a VIP Blue Man Group party
held in lucky Las Vegas. Armed with “blue” themed ingredients including bleu cheese, blueberries, and blue corn, they made it through the first round and went on to dominate the second and final challenges to win the grand prize of having their cupcakes featured at the Blue Man Group party in Vegas!

To celebrate being three-time champs of the show, Arleen announced that the store will be offering the winning Blue Man Group cupcakes in a four-pack special all week long as well as her trilogy pack featuring cupcakes from all three winning seasons of Cupcake Wars!

Also, for today only (Tuesday, July 9th), listeners can mention K-EARTH 101 and receive a FREE cupcake when they visit the store (while supplies last).

Sweet Arleen’s is located in Westlake Village at 960 South Westlake Blvd Suite #4. Click here for more information on Sweet Arleen’s and listen to our complete interview with owner Arleen below:

Part one: Arleen talks about her third win on Cupcake Wars.

Part two: Sweet Arleen choose the ingredients inspired by classic songs about food to make our own K-EARTH cupcake! Using listener suggestions, Sweet Arleen’s will make a custom cupcake with ingredients inspired by the songs “Cherry Cherry,” “Incense and Peppermint” (minus the incense) and the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
