Everyone’s ‘friend,’ Matthew Perry, is on the cover of People magazine this month where he opens up about his untold story of ‘My Life As A Drug Addict’ inside and how he’s now turned it around to help others.

Not many people knew that for over a decade, the Friends star was struggling with drug addiction during his height of fame on the show. He said he was living the actor’s dream making $1 million per episode, but he had a big problem with alcohol and pills, and couldn’t stop.

He told People that the problem eventually got so out of hand that he couldn’t hide it any longer and he finally decided to get sober.

Having turned his life around, Perry is now dedicated to helping others with drug addiction by turning his Malibu beach home into a men’s sober living facility called “Perry’s House.”

Perry, who now has a recurring role on The Good Wife, says sobriety and helping others has led him to true happiness in his life.
