Hot off the heels of the release of his picture book Photograph this week, famed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr already has another book deal ahead of him.

According to USA Today, Starr has given the go ahead to publishing company Simon and Schuster to create a children’s illustrated book inspired by the Beatles hit he penned 45 years ago, “Octopus’s Garden.”

The enchanting undersea track that urges his “friends to come and see / An octopus’s garden with me” will serve as the story of the book and will feature colorful illustrations by artist Ben Cort, who provided illustrations for the popular children’s book series Aliens Love Pants.

The special release will be accompanied by an audio CD featuring an unheard track by Ringo and a reading of the story.

Ingrid Selberg at Simon & Schuster UK, commented on the release to The Guardian saying it’s the  “perfect marriage of a truly child-friendly text, based on Ringo’s popular song, with illustrations that revel in the imaginative opportunities presented by the lyrics.”

Starr’s “Octopus’s Garden” is expected for release in North America in January 2014.
