Lawry’s Celebrates 75 Years By Offering Special Prime Rib Dinner For $1.25

The original Lawry’s the Prime Rib is celebrating its 75th anniversary June 11th by offering a prime rib dinner for a special rollback price of $1.25.

The original Lawry’s location on La Cienega just at the edge of Beverly Hills first opened in 1938, so to commemorate 75 years of serving its specialty prime rib, the famed eatery is offering a prime rib dinner for the same price as when it opened.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, the first 1,000 customers can enjoy the restaurant’s special “Lawry cut” prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and a “Spinning Bowl” salad for the 1938 price of $1.25, reports L.A. Times.
