A Yellow Submarine Spotted At The Abbey Road Crossing

One of the most recognizable album covers in history of rock and roll is no doubt from The Beatles’ 1969 Abbey Road album.

The Fab Four’s iconic image walking in unison across the crosswalk just outside Abbey Road Studios in London has been a top tourist attraction for years with hoards of fans visiting every day just to recreate the image themselves.

Thanks to the 24/7 EarthCam set up at that very zebra-striped crosswalk, sometimes viewers are treated to entertaining tributes from wacky fans dressed up as the Fab Four to the latest sighting of a Yellow Submarine cruising across the street.

That’s right, a dedicated fan named Carl White made a replica Yellow Submarine soapbox car for the upcoming Red Bull Soapbox race in London and took it for a visit to the Abbey Road Crossing, according to Liverpool Echo.

The live views of Abbey Road are available 24/7 at no cost to everyone and can be viewed by visiting www.abbeyroad.com/Crossing. Viewers can even share snapshots from the camera on Facebook and Twitter!
