Did You Know: “Saturday In The Park” By Chicago

Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2’ song is “Saturday In The Park” by Chicago.

Chicago’s main songwriter, Robert Lamm, wrote it after a particularly exhilarating 4th of July spent in New York’s Central Park, where there were steel drum players, singers, dancers and jugglers.

It became the group’s first ‘gold’ single.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take lucky caller #13 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Fleetwood Mac, Wednesday, July 3rd at Staples Center.
