Paul McCartney Attacked By Grasshoppers On Stage

Have you even seen a swarm of grasshoppers attack a Beatle before? Fans in Goiania, Brazil witnessed a strange site during Paul McCartney’s concert Tuesday night when dozens of the green hoppers buzzed around the Beatle on stage.

According to the New York Daily News, the 70-year-old rocker played through his three hour set in Brazil, which included the addition of Beatle songs never played live before, while dozens of the large creatures swarmed around him on stage and even made themselves at home on his shirt (see the photos here).

Paul was a good sport about it all, even dubbing one of the grasshoppers that sat on his shoulder “Harold” during his performance of “Hey Jude.”
