Did You Know: “Eight Days A Week” By The Beatles

Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2’ song is “Eight Days a Week” by The Beatles. It’s a song that has a fade up intro, rare for the day.

Paul McCartney claims that he asked his chauffeur while being driven to John’s house in Weybridge if he was busy, and got the answer “Busy? I’ve been working eight days a week.”

The Beatles wrote it for the movie “Help,” which at one point was titled “Eight arms to hold you.”

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller # 7 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Flashdance – The Musical coming to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in May.
