It’s a big weekend at the box office with one of the most anticipated spring films hitting theaters this weekend. Mr. Moviefone joined us to tell us whether or not the Jackie Robinson biopic 42 is homerun, plus his take on the newest edition to the Scary Movie franchise and an under-the-radar film that’s a must-see.

42: Starring newcomer Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford, this biopic on the legendary Dodger Jackie Robinson follows the challenges he faced after becoming the first African-American in the MLB.

Mr. Moviefone’s take: He’s in! Could have been “grittier” but still a “stand-up double!”

Scary Movie 5: Starring Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, this is the latest parody on the horror genre in the Scary Movie franchise.

Mr. Moviefone’s take: He’s out! and if you’re willing to pay, he can no longer be friends with you.

Disconnect: A limited release starring Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgard and Hope Davis, it’s a cautionary tale about the information age.

Mr. Moviefone’s take: He’s in! After seeing this film, you’ll want to “disconnect”.
