Victor Ortiz: Being In Bottom Two On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Was “Horrible”
Now a few weeks into competing on Dancing With The Stars, boxer Victor Ortiz joined us in studio this morning to talk about narrowly escaping elimination last night.
Victor and his partner Lindsay Arnold were in the bottom two with Real Housewives star Lisa Vanderpump and partner Gleb Savchenko, but it was Victor who was saved for another week.
“Wow. I do not like that position,” said Victor on being in the bottom two. “It’s horrible. It makes your stomach feel upset, makes you want to throw up, it’s not a good feeling.”
Victor added that he didn’t fully process he was voted safe when it was announced because he was mentally preparing to go home.
“I was so about going home mentally…so I completely blocked out anything that was said,” he added. “I thought [Lisa] was safe.”
Victor also talked about joining us for an exciting K-EARTH 101 Cinco de Mayo party broadcast on May 3rd at El Torito in Sherman Oaks.
Victor will be one of special guests as we celebrate with Mariachi music, food, drinks and more during the live broadcast. Joining Victor will be special guest band El Chicano and Operation Repo’s Lou Pizarro with KTLA 5 broadcasting as well!
“Absolutely, we’re just going to have a good time, greet some fans and just have a good time out there,” said Victor.
