On ‘Tickets @ 2′ to win a pair of tickets to see Gladys Knight in concert Thursday April 18th at the Renee & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, listen for “Hello, Goodby” by The Beatles.

Paul McCartney wrote the song, and John Lennon hated it. He viewed it as an inconsequential song of McCartney’s, saying it was “three minutes of contradictions and meaningless juxtapositions.” What further infuriated Lennon was that his “I Am The Walrus,” was released as the B-side to “Hello, Goodbye.”

By the way, happy birthday to Julian Lennon who turns 50 today. He was the inspiration behind “Hey Jude”, a song Paul wrote while John & Cynthia were going through a divorce, in empathy of young Julian at the time.

We’ll take caller #10 when it plays between two and three to win the tickets at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784).
