Did You Know: “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” By Creedence Clearwater Revival

On ‘Tickets @ 2’ today it’s “Have You Ever Seen The Rain?” By Creedence Clearwater Revival.

The song is John Fogerty’s take on the departure of his brother Tom from the band, and the overall tension in the group at a time when they should have been enjoying success.

Tom Fogerty left the group in early 1971, after the song was released, Tom had three solo albums before dying of tuberculosis in 1990.

This is one of John’s all-time favorite CCR songs.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller # 8 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see the original stars of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons this Saturday at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.
