With a ‘license to kill’ and a apparently a license to thrill, ‘Bond’ actor Daniel Craig traded in the Aston Martin to unveil a brand new Range Rover on the streets of New York Wednesday night.
Craig drove up in the all-new Range Rover Sport in an appearance at the New York Auto Show, but many guests were disappointed that the Bond actor dashed after just seven minutes on the red carpet.
New York Post reports that Craig was reportedly paid $1 million for the appearance that only lasted ’007′ minutes. No speech, no shaking hands with guests, the star instead left moments after snapping a few photos along the red carpet.
A rep for Land Rover said after Craig’s disappearing act, “We won’t comment on our relationship with Mr. Craig beyond confirming that Land Rover supports the charity S.A.F.E., of which the actor is a patron, and will continue its charitable efforts with a vehicle donation later this year.”
Must be pretty good to be Bond. Listen to the full story in the Entertainment Report below!
