Did You Know: “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I’ve Got)” By The Four Tops

This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2’ listen for “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I’ve Got) by The Four Tops.

The song was written be Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter, who were producers at the ABC-Dunhill label where The Four Tops recorded from 1973-1978 after leaving Motown Records. Lambert and Potter were responsible for many of the label’s hits, including Coven’s “One Tin Soldier (The Legend of Billy Jack)” and “Don’t Pull Your Love (Out)” by Hamilton, Joe. Frank & Reynolds.

This was the biggest hit for The Four Tops after their departure from Motown.

When you hear it between two and three we’ll take caller # 9 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Three Dog Night and The Grassroots July 19th at the Pacific Amphiteatre.
