This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2′ listen for “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I’ve Got) by The Four Tops.
The song was written be Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter, who were producers at the ABC-Dunhill label where The Four Tops recorded from 1973-1978 after leaving Motown Records. Lambert and Potter were responsible for many of the label’s hits, including Coven’s “One Tin Soldier (The Legend of Billy Jack)” and “Don’t Pull Your Love (Out)” by Hamilton, Joe. Frank & Reynolds.
This was the biggest hit for The Four Tops after their departure from Motown.
