With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, we want to send some good fortune out to our listeners. Whether you’re a descendant of the Emerald Isle or not, St. Patty’s Day is the one day a year we’re all a little Irish, and it never hurts to have a little luck on your side.
In celebration of St. Patty’s Day, we’re counting down some of the best classic hits about luck to fill your weekend with good fortune!

Rod may be a little down on his luck in this song about finding his true love, but we have a funny feeling everything will work out for him in the end.
“With A Little Luck” – Paul McCartney & Wings
Paul McCartney wrote this lucky tribute released in 1978 to his wife, Linda, while she was expecting a child.
“Lucky Star” — Madonna
Madonna knows to look to the stars for luck, which must have worked because “Lucky Star” became the pop star’s first top five hit on the Billboard charts.
“Lucky Man” — Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Greg Lake wrote this song when he was just 12 years old, and to his luck, became a notable rock hit for ELP years later.
“Superstition” – Stevie Wonder
In this No.1 hit, Stevie warns that believing in wacky superstitions “ain’t the way.” It’s best to take Stevie’s advice and just let lady luck come to you.
