There’s nothing more heartwarming than seeing news stories of soldiers making surprise homecomings for their families, but maybe a hockey rink isn’t the best setting.
Army Sgt. Phillip Gallardo made a surprise visit home during a AA hockey game in Ohio, and set it up that his wife and two children were “randomly” selected to drop the ceremonial first puck onto the ice.
After the family walks out onto the ice, the soldier appears and his kids get so excited to see him that they race towards him almost taking a spill on the ice!
But even a little slip couldn’t tarnish the sweet moment and the kids embrace their dad with a big bear hug. Watch the sweet moment below!
