If you’ve ever dreamed about flying through the air holding an umbrella like Mary Poppins, you’re not alone.

Extreme skydiver Erik Roner decided to put Mary Poppins’ mode of transportation to the test by jumping out of a hot air balloon with an umbrella to see if it really works.

With a GoPro attached to capture the entire jump, the umbrella doesn’t hold up to the test, squashing our dreams of traveling through the skies like Mary Poppins any time soon, but we can still pretend, right?
