Did You Know: “Freeway of Love” By Aretha Franklin

This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2’ it’s “Freeway of Love” by ‘The Queen of Soul’ Aretha Franklin. “Freeway of Love” is a Grammy winner released as the first single from Aretha’s 1985 album Who’s Zoomin’ Who?

The song features a notable contribution from Clarence Clemons, saxophonist from Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller # 13 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Barry Manilow under the stars at the Greek Theatre in June.
