Russia experienced a wild astronomical phenomenon on Thursday when a meteor streaked through the sky with such force, it caused explosions in the Ural Mountain region, according to CBS News.
The shockwave of the meteor passing by caused windows to shatter, car alarms to go off, and has left hundreds of people with injuries.
Many residents were able to capture the meteor flying through the sky, which left a bright streak and flashed with a loud exploding sound before dissipating in the sky.
