This morning we had a special visit from local Girl Scouts Taylor, Paris and Sierra from Troop 484 from the Covina Chapter in studio this morning to taste-test some of the famous Girl Scout cookies!

Noreen Jung, the Marketing Manager of the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles also joined us in studio to tell us that a portion of the money raised from cookie sales goes towards the Girl Scout council to support girls programming. Troop 484 has also chosen the Humane Society to donate a portion of their proceeds to.

Taylor tells us that some of the money their troop raises from sales will also go towards their school and plans on buying new sports equipment for them.

If you want to stock up on your favorite Girl Scout cookies for the season ends, you can stop by Troop 484′s booth today outside Ralph’s in Glendora at 3 p.m. to pick up your box!
