Every year, IHOP treats its valued customers to a complimentary stack of delicious, fluffy buttermilk pancakes in celebration of National Pancake Day (Feb. 5), and it’s all to help raise money for charity.

In return for a free meal, IHOP is asking customers to make a donation to achieve their goal of raising $3 million towards the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds for 170 nonprofit children’s medical centers, reports LA Times.

Since 2006, IHOP has raised more than $10 million for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated charities.
