Calling directly from New Orleans covering all the Super Bowl parties and events, Jillian Barberie joined The K-EARTH 101 Morning Show today to give us an update on all her latest projects.

Many fans were disappointed after Jillian’s departure from Good Day LA last year, and ever since she’s been gone, the show just hasn’t been the same without her.

“It was an amazing nineteen years, but the twentieth year sucked,” she joked. “But you get through it, you move on and bigger and better.”

And those bigger and better things include Jillian getting her own TV show on KTLA, which is in the final stages of being signed, and if everything works out it will start in May.

In addition to her perspective new show, Jillian returned to her sports roots this past weekend doing Super Bowl coverage of the pre-game and parties happening in New Orleans.

She gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the biggest party of the weekend called the Beach Bowl where dozens of celebrities got together on two teams to play a friendly game (in which her team won), plus details on the crazy after party with Justin Timberlake!

Jillian also talked about her partnership along with Dan Marino with Nutrisystem and their goal to help everyone get back on their diet track in case we had a little too much chicken wings and dip during the Super Bowl.
