Barbara Walters Hospitalized After Scary Fall
Barbara Walters had a scary weekend while in Washington, D.C. to cover the Inaugural events but was hospitalized after a nasty fall.
The 83-year-old View host fell while at the residency of the Britain’s Ambassador to the U.S. and cut her forehead so badly that she needed to be taken to the hospital.
Walters was stitched up and treated after the fall, but ABC Spokesman Jeffrey Schneider said she remained alert and “telling everyone what to do,” reports People.
Before the fall on Saturday, Walters was scheduled to help with ABC News coverage of the presidential inaugural ceremonies this weekend.
