Passengers on the Australian airline Qantas Airways thought they were in a real-life version of the Hollywood film Snakes On A Plane when they spotted a large python clinging on to the side of the plane’s wing.
The 10-foot scrub python fought for its life to stay on the wing in the frigid air during the two-hour flight from Cairns, Australia, to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, reports Huffington Post. Sadly, the BBC reported that the snake managed to cling to wing for the duration for the flight, but ultimately didn’t survive the ordeal.
