Some people even used it as their wedding song. Frontman Sting wrote it after separating from his first wife, Francis Tomelty.

This was the biggest hit of 1983. It was #1 for 8 weeks. Sting wrote it at the same dexk in Jamaica where Ian Fleming wrote his James Bond Novels.
