The ‘Tickets @ 2′ song today is “Every Breath You Take” by The Police. It’s one of the most misinterpreted songs ever. It’s about an obsessive stalker, but sounds like a love song. Some people even used it as their wedding song. Frontman Sting wrote it after separating from his first wife, Francis Tomelty.
This was the biggest hit of 1983. It was #1 for 8 weeks. Sting wrote it at the same dexk in Jamaica where Ian Fleming wrote his James Bond Novels.
When you hear it come on the radio between two and three we’ll take caller #13 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see War live in concert December 29th at the Grove of Anaheim.
