Comin’ up on ‘Tickets @ 2′ it’s the last chart single for the group before lead singer Chaka Khan left for a solo career. Born Yvette Stevens, she sings about a man who makes her feel so good, that no other man can come close, “Ain’t Nobody.” It was one of 1983′s best from Rufus & Chaka Khan.

Producer Quincy Jones wanted the song for Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album, and almost got it. Rufus keyboardist David Wolinski wrote the song. The group wasn’t thrilled with it but recorded the song anyway. It charted at #22 in the US and #8 in the UK.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller #11 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see War ‘live’ December 29th at the Grove of Anaheim.
