Today on ‘Tickets @ 2′ it’s Lionel Richie’s fourth solo single “All Night Long (All Night).”
The song was a # 1 for the former Commodore, and was performed by Richie himself at the closing ceremony of the 1984 Olympics here in Los Angeles.
Richie told The Epoch Times that he got the vibe for the song from his vacations in the Caribbean. A young Richard Marx, before he found fame on his own such as “Right Here Waiting,” supplied backing vocals on this track.
When you hear it play between two and three we’ll take caller #11 to 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see War at The Grove of Anaheim December 29th.
