No need to stock up on water or food in preparation of Dec. 21st, the world is not going to end as the ancient Mayans have predicted. How do we know this? Because the scientists of NASA told us so in a new video explaining all the reasons why the skies won’t go dark on the looming day.

NASA leaked a video meant for release the day after Dec. 21st titled “ScienceCasts: Why the World Didn’t End Yesterday” ten days early that debunks all the theories and predictions of the world ending.

According to the scientists, there is no giant asteroid hurtling towards Earth; no rouge planet colliding into our atmosphere (if there were, they said, it would already be the brightest object in the sky); and the sun is not going to blow up.

As the YouTube description reads, “NASA is so sure the world won’t come to an end on Dec. 21, 2012, that they already released a video for the day after.”

So relax and breathe easy knowing that the world will continue on past Dec. 21st! Check out the video below to hear NASA explain why the world isn’t going to end!

Do you still think the End of the World is coming on Dec. 21st despite NASA’s video? Tell us in the comments below!
