Making a personal appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman Tuesday night, Mick Jagger offered up some worthwhile life advice that future rock legends may want to take a listen to.

Celebrating the Rolling Stones’ 50th career anniversary this year, Mick has learned a think or two about life in the rock ‘n’ roll spotlight over the years. Just a few of the things he’s learned after 50 years in rock ‘n’ roll? It’s fun to sign every 10th autograph as “Doris Goldblatt”  and you don’t earn a cent when someone does a song about having “moves like Jagger.”
