Vanity Fair/60 Minutes Survey Names ‘Seinfeld’ As Greatest TV Sitcom Of All-Time

According to a new December survey conducted by Vanity Fair and 60 Minutes, the greatest TV sitcom of all-time is a show about “nothing.”

According to the poll results, America voted the wacky cast of Seinfeld as the best sitcom with 22 percent of the votes, followed by The Honeymooners coming in at a close second with 20 percent of the votes.

Another Manhattan-based sitcom rounded out the top three with Friends coming in with 16 percent of the votes. Cheers came in fourth with 14 percent, followed by Arrested Development with seven percent, Mary Tyler Moore at six percent and finally 30 Rock at five percent.
