This morning we played a little guessing game with listeners asking what were the biggest baby names of 2012? BabyCenter revealed the top 100 most popular names of the year after asking nearly a half million new parents to share their baby’s name for the survey.
The trend hasn’t changed much since last year with Sophia and Aiden topping the list once again. The only new entries in the top ten include Mia for the girls and Jack for the boys, making the letter ‘J’ the most popular choice for boys.
The survey also asked parents what’s most important to them when choosing a name, with 20 percent saying uniqueness is a key factor. See below for the top 10 baby names for boys and girls!
