This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2′ be listening for “Take Me Home Tonight” by Eddie Money which features Ronnie Spector of Ronettes fame.

The song is based on The Ronnettes’ 1963 hit “Be My Baby,” with Ronnie performing her famous line from that song in the Eddie Money hit, “Be my little baby.”

When Ronnie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the trio the Ronettes, she gave props to Eddie Money. Ronnie appeared in the video, mostly in silhouette form. This song and video introduced her to a new generation, as the clip got plenty of video time on MTV.

When you hear it come up between two and three we’ll take caller #8 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Donny & Marie Christmas In Los Angeles coming to the Pantages Theatre.
