Did You Know: “Rock ‘n’ Roll Music” By The Beatles

This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2’ be listening for The Beatles version of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Music.” It’s a number they played in their Hamburg days and early live concerts like their appearances on the BBC’s “Pop Go The Beatles.”

The song was written and recorded by Rock And Roll Icon Chuck Berry in may of 1957 at the Chess Recording Studios in Chicago.

The Beatles idolized early American Rock And Roll and recorded their cover of Chuck Berry’s song on his 38th birthday.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller #5 at1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Aerosmith with special guests Cheap Trick December 3rd at Staples Center.
