A time-lapse video created by YouTube user SMVideoChan captures the unrelenting power of Superstorm Sandy pummeling New York City earlier this week.
The video captures two days of the storm from the morning of Oct. 29 until 30, when the storm was at its strongest, and condenses the mighty wrath of mother nature into a two-minute video.
According to Yahoo, the video was taken from the Northside Piers Towers in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and shows the might of storm with dark skies, heavy rains, high winds, and choppy water to the calm after the storm. At one point, you can even see the lights go out over the city skyline after part of the city loses power.
