Ever since the Twilight saga began a few years back, brooding vampires have been the big craze with teens and young adults, but it seems like the popular thing these days has switched gears to another on-screen monster — Zombies.
With The Walking Dead on AMC being one of the most-watched cable TV shows with over 10 million people tuning in each week, it seems like the undead has taken over the nation.
Around the country, zombies fans and believers take part in area zombie-walks or runs, and not to mention the bizarre cases of “zombie attacks” of people eating/biting others’ faces. The zombie apocalypse is so real to some that today in San Diego, a zombie drill is being organized Halo Corp. with hundreds of marines, police, firefighters and others being trained on how to fight in an attack.
So we want to know, are vampires still as popular as they were a couple years ago, or have zombies taken over?
