Aerosmith To Play “Surprise” Show In Boston

Coinciding with the release of their new album Music From Another Dimension! – and to provide Boston residents with a memorable Monday afternoon – Aerosmith have revealed plans to perform a surprise concert at an undisclosed location in the city on November 5th, the day before the album comes out.

According to a press release, the band is “planning to show up somewhere in the city, around noon, and play on the streets.” No other details have been provided. The press release goes on to say, “Well, they would LIKE to tell us more, but they’re cooperating with authorities who will let them reveal the location the morning of November 5.”

Aerosmith is also celebrating Election Day (November 6), and is encouraging people to get out and vote. “Anyone who votes is a Freedom Fighter,” guitarist Joe Perry said in the release.

It’ll be a busy week for the band, as they kick off the second leg of their Global Warming Tour on November 8th in Oklahoma City.  As with the first leg, Cheap Trick is the opening act.
