Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2′ hit is from Stevie Wonder, it’s “My Cherie Amour.”

The title is french for “My Dearest Love.” Wonder wrote it for his girlfriend at the time Marcia. It was originally titled “Oh My Marcia.”

Motown songwriter/producers Henry Crosby and Sylvia Moy wrote it with Wonder, who was 19 at thye time. Wonder started recording at age 12, and was writing songs in his teenage years.
