Your ‘Tickets @ 2′ hit of the day is “She’s Gone” by Hall & Oates. It came out in 1973, Hall & Oates wrote it while consoling each other over heartbreaks. Daryl had just divorced from his wife Bryna Lublin and a New Years Eve date stood up John.

This is one of the duo’s favorite songs. Daryl told Entertainment Weekly in 2009: “It’s very autobiographical. What we wrote about was real, even though it was two different situations, making a very, very personal statement, yet saying it in a way that a lot of people can relate to themselves.”

When you hear it play between two and three we’ll take caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win those tickets to see The Monkees November 10th at the Greek Theatre.
