World renowned experimental percussion outfit Blue Man Group is back on the Vegas stage with a brand new show of wild instruments and sounds unlike anything seen or heard before!
They have a new home at the Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort and Casino and to tell us a little more about what to expect, the Blue Man Group burst into the K-EARTH 101 studio this morning to give us a little taste! Of course, known to be a little on the quiet side, BMG creative director, Michael Quinn, spoke on behalf of the Blue Men.
Michael tells us that the new shows are completely redesigned and re-written to give a fresh, new take on their beloved show.
“There’s a lot going on in the show that’s never been seen before and so we’re super psyched about it,” said Michael. “The Monte Carlo is fun because they kind of said ‘you can do whatever you want. They didn’t put any limits on us.”
One of the cool, new features in the show includes a wild ruckus they call the ‘Percussapede,’ in which the BMG marches through the casino with a bunch of weird contraptions and percussive instruments that are too big to fit into the theater.
The Blue Man Group has a brand new show at the Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort and Casino and tickets are on sale now for shows running through April 30, 2013! For ticket and show info, call 877-459-0268 or visit www.blueman.com.
