You won’t be finding a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, but you will find some movie magic. Sony Pictures Studios unveiled its massive 94-foot tall rainbow sculpture in Culver City Monday that pays homage to the iconic Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer produced film The Wizard Of Oz.

The 100,000 pound permanent sculpture was created by artist Tony Tasset in a $1.6 million project commissioned by Sony Pictures Entertainment as part of the city’s public art project, according to Huffington Post.

Culver City Mayor Andy Weissman told the LA Times that he hopes the colorful arch will be a destination for tourists and locals alike.

“We hope it captures imaginations and people want to come and see it,” he said.

It certainly catches the eye and is a great reminder that somewhere over the rainbow, Dorothy and her pals made a wild journey in the land of Oz thanks to a little movie magic here in California.
