It’s a hit from The Jacksons on ‘Tickets @ 2′ “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground).”

This hit became the most successful of the Jacksons’ disco/funk-era records for Epic Records (not Motown). It was produced by the Jackson brothers, written by Randy and Michael, and featured Michael on lead vocals.

The first performance of the song was on the second leg of The Jacksons’ Destiny Tour in 1979. Later it was performed on The Triumph Tour in 1981, and in 1984 on the Victory Tour.

When you hear it play between two and three we’ll take caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Clint Eastwood’s latest movie “Trouble With The Curve.”
