Many thrill seekers have those nervous butterflies in their stomach and that underlying fear something might go wrong before stepping onto an amusement park ride, but normally there’s nothing to worry about.
But park-goers at Knott’s Berry Farm got a little more thrill than they bargained for Wednesday when the park’s newest ride, the Windseeker, unexpectedly malfunctioned and left them dangling 300 feet in the air for three hours.
It’s the second time in two weeks the ride has left riders high and dry. The attraction will be closed until the cause of the malfunction is determined. Luckily, no riders were injured.
CBS LA reports, “The park visitors were left hanging 300 feet in the air for nearly three hours before they were returned safely to the ground.”
