And it’s liftoff for the Endeavour! The historic space shuttle has officially embarked on its final journey to Los Angeles this morning from Kennedy Space Center, reports CBS LA.
Friday morning, the shuttle will touchdown at LAX, but not before flying over some of L.A.’s iconic landmarks. It was announced Tuesday evening that the shuttle will be shown off around L.A. before landing.
If you want to spot the Endeavour in the sky as it arrives in L.A., grab your cameras and head to one of these areas to see this once-in-a-lifetime sight!
The Endeavour is expected to fly over these sites from around 10 a.m. – noon.
