Angelina Jolie Says She Will Only Sit Down With Ann Curry On ‘Today’
The recent Today Show fiasco may have not only lost former host Ann Curry, but also any chances of high-profile interviews with Hollywood’s power couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the process.
According to recent reports from Radar, a source claimed that Jolie and Pitt’s loyalty lies with Curry, and if Today wants to sit down with the couple for future interviews, it will only be with Curry.
“Angelina has tremendous respect for Ann because of the work she has done on bringing awareness to Darfur,” a source told the site.
Jolie reportedly reached out to Curry after the very public firing from the Today Show and “made it clear” that she and Pitt would only do interviews on NBC with her, according to Huffington Post.
The inside source also noted that “with rumors of an upcoming wedding for the couple, NBC will lose any interviews with the actors in the future if Ann isn’t allowed to do it.”
However, NBC is denying these reports saying “there isn’t any truth to this” and Jolie never reached out to the network or Curry.
