Today marks the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s shocking death in 1977 at just the age of 42.

As we remember the King of Rock and Roll’s legacy, K-EARTH 101′s own Bob Malik discovered a vintage photo of him and Gary Bryan  from their days working at San Fransisco’s  KYA 1260AM, and the original breaking news bulletin of Elvis’ death that ran on the teletype machines.
