According to the website money.msn.com, these are The TEN Best Selling and most successful Products… EVER…in no particular order….

The Rubik’s Cube – at the height of its popularity, it was estimated that one fifth of the world’s population had either solved or tried to solve the puzzle.  350 million sold

The iPhone – it’s five years old and has generated 150 BILLION dollars in revenue for Apple so far.  250 million sold

The HARRY POTTER Book series – Harry made J.K. Rowling one of the richest women on the planet.  450 million sold

“Thriller” – The album from Michael Jackson – Produced by Quincy Jones, the album has sold 110 million world wide and around 30 million in the U.S. alone, meaning about one out of ten people in America own it!

The MARIO Video Game franchise – A great time waster for millions during the 80’s, The Mario Brothers have sold 262 million units to date.

The iPad – not yet 2 ½ years old, it’s another winner for Apple, setting the pace in the tablet computer market.  It’s sold 67 million so far.

The “Star Wars” film series – it debuted in 1977 and has taken in 4.5 billion dollars for the franchise

Play Station – SONY’s video game console.  Introduced in 1994, it’s sold 300 million units so far to gamers around the world.
