Your ‘Tickets @ 2′ song today is “If I Can’t Have You” by Yvonne Elliman.

This was Elliman’s biggest hit reaching #1 and written by the Bee Gees.

She got her start as a backup singer for Eric Clapton and performed on many of his ’70s hits including “I Shot the Sheriff.” She also sang the role of Mary Magdalene in the original album Jesus Christ Superstar and in the Broadway and film versions.

“If I Can’t Have You” made her the first Asian/Pacific Islander to have a # 1 hit, she’s from Honolulu, Hawaii.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take the 7th caller at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win Liza Minnelli “Confession’s” tickets at the Hollywood Bowl.
