Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have yet to kick off the second round of North American shows on the Wrecking Ball Tour, and yet, The Boss has just announced a third leg of shows across America and Canada.
Instead of wrapping the tour with three Jersey concerts at the end of September, Springsteen will return to the road for 16 more shows, kicking off October 19th in Ottawa. He’ll zig-zag the coasts until December 6th, when he wraps the tour in Glendale, Arizona.
This news comes as Springsteen wraps his 11-week run of Europe, which found him playing some of his longest shows ever, so much so that he and Paul McCartney had the plug pulled on a London concert two weeks ago. Coverage of Springsteen’s European shows has been popular, portraying them to be the stuff of lore and even playing a role in The New Yorker‘s 19-page profile of The Boss this week.
Since the release of his 17th album Wrecking Ball back in March, Springsteen has been touring behind the No. 1 album. He kicks off previously-announced North American shows on August 14th in Boston.
On-sale information for the new shows, which are listed below, is available on Springsteen’s official site. On-sale starts August 17th.
